Relegation confirmed by Christmas. How's that for negativity!
Silver lining might be that GSB could get realistic if we were relegated and sell at an appropriate price.
Nearly all the teams that make a fist of it in the Prem. have owners that make money somewhere else.

When I'm really looking forward to a season and stupidly optimistic we usually do awful or get relegated . When I've expected the drop we've usually done okay . 86-87 ,02/03 , 06/07 all crap and expectations high .

Really, as things stand we are definitely in the bottom 6. I'll be optimistic and go 17th. But in reality who will be below us?
There are no definite candidates this season, only maybes:
West Brom
Fulham
With a few other unlikely possibilities:
Newcastle
Palace
Brighton
With the one's who have invested well or have a good manager:
Villa
Leeds
Southampton
Burnley
Sheff Utd
Barring manager changes, we're looking at West Brom, Fulham & West Ham to drop, but I can't predict relegation, so will stick with 17th.
